Abstract (EN): The authors propose a method to study the 3D evolution of hexahedric samples of hyperelastic materials. The methodology starts with video acquisition from two orthogonal directions. After that, frame synchronization is performed to the two video signals. The synchronized frames suffer digital image processing techniques and the information from both (orthogonal) frames is combined in order to build a 3D mesh. The video acquisition and processing software is developed using MATLAB (R). The material used to validate the procedure is silicone-rubber, which presents hyperelastic behavior. Application to soft biological tissues will be an extension of the present work.
