Abstract (EN): Compared with the conventional Ionic Liquids (ILs), Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES) are more biodegradable and biocompatible and they are prepared easily in high purity at low cost. Because of this, a good study of their pure properties and their binary mixtures in function of temperature is very necessary and of considerable importance in the development and design of new processes utilizing these solvents. In this work, DES are prepared using the heating method that is based on mixing the two components, which are then heated under constant stirring until a homogeneus liquid is formed. Therefore, the density and refractive index for pure and binary systems containing DES and different alcohols are measured at different temperatures.
