Abstract (EN): Physical anatomic models obtained from medical images can be a powerful aid in the treatment of several medical situations. In this work, a complete methodology, from the acquisition of medical images to materialisation of three-dimensional models, with a particular emphasis on image segmentation techniques, was studied, developed and applied to organs of the female pelvic cavity. This methodology is presented in this paper, including several experimental results of each involved step.
