Abstract (EN):
The Pelvic Floor (PF) is a supporter structure of the pelvic organs and their functions are to support and suspend the pelvic organs, maintaining urinary and fecal continence, sensory and emptying abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract and lower urinary tract. Dysfunctions of PF include a group of disorders affecting the adult woman and cover the organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. The aim of this study is to determine the reaction force that occurs at the coccyx when a woman performs the increase of intra-abdominal pressure. We have a 3D model of muscle pubovisceral was created through magnetic resonance imaging. A finite element model was then generated and the intra-abdominal pressure was simulated. It was found that the tested women had different behaviors with increasing intra-abdominal pressure.
