Abstract (EN): This paper reports research about the resistance of geosynthetics against weathering. Several geotextiles, geonets and geomembranes were exposed to natural weathering conditions in Portugal. The degradation suffered by the geosynthetics was evaluated by tensile tests and by scanning electron microscopy. © 2009 IOS Press.
