Abstract (EN): A simple transport model is developed in order to better illustrate the competing effects of gas- and solid-phase transport in abed of particles with high adsorptive capacity. The model is successfully applied to the semiquantitative description of Xe-129 NMR data obtained for the adsorption/desorption of benzene in beds of ZSM-5 crystals.
