Abstract (EN):
Atomic absorption spectrometry methods are described to measure Ag, Co, and Si in Port wine by GFAAS and Zn using flame atomization. Dilution is the only sample preparation step required before quantification. The detection limits were 0.20, 1.6, 7.9, and 21 mu g/L for silver, cobalt, silicon, and zinc, respectively. The recovery study performed by the method of standard additions with three different concentrations of the elements showed values of >92%. The precision of the method was also evaluated. The relative standard deviation was 5.7, 10.7, 6.7, 8.5% for Ag, Co, Si and Zn, respectively, which suggests that this method is suitable for routine analysis.
