Abstract (EN): Primary cutaneous neuroendocrine carcinoma (Merkel cell carcinoma, trabecular carcinoma), is a rare and agressive neoplasm of controversial histogenesis. We report two cases in elderly patients, whose findings suggest that irradiation and wide surgical excision are both effective therapeutic modalities for stage I Merkel cell carcinoma. We report these cases to illustrate how we can treat a malignant tumour with good local control and excellent cosmetic results.
