Resumo (PT): Este projecto caracteriza a acústica interior numa amostra de quatro grandes centros comerciais da zona do Porto, Portugal (Arrábida Shopping, Via Catarina, Norte Shopping e Dolce Vita Porto) através de medições in situ de parâmetros acústicos objectivos (tempo de reverberação e ruído de fundo) comparando estes com valores ideais propostos e avaliando a influência que as características da envolvente têm sobre os resultados. Obtiveram-se, como exemplo, nas praças de alimentação, valores de TR entre 1,7 e 3,2 s e LAeq (com ocupação) entre 67 e 70 dB.

Abstract (EN): This study characterizes the interior acoustics in four large shopping malls in Porto, Portugal by in situ measurements of objective acoustic parameters (reverberation time and background noise levels) comparing these with proposed ideal values and evaluating the influence that the surrounding features have on the results. Results show RT values between 1.7 and 3.2 s and LAeq (with occupancy) between 67 and 70 dB.
