The main objective of the project is to develop standard and contemporary rescue education for miners and rescue members by use of not only engineering aspects but also psychological aspects. In addition to these, some additional objectives of the project are; ● to develop certification for curriculum by the mining authorities for mine rescue teams in EU, ● to improve the use of the digital and technological tools for boosting the practical competences of miners, ● to improve mental wellbeing and preparedness level of miners for any kind of rescue operation, ● to create virtual environment for the miners for sharing their knowledge and experience in the field. The project should be carried out transnationally as for the necessity of EU OSH Strategic Framework 2014-2020 and The European Heads of State Mining Authorities' reports. The EU Commission has adopted OHS Strategic Framework and it can be achieved by international cooperation and diverse cultural perspectives. In this project psychologists, sociologist, mining engineers, VR/AR experts, rescue experts and decision makers in the mining area will come together to develop new methods of mine rescue education. It is very necessary to bring together these various experts from the Europe and improve global solutions. Multi-participants from various European countries will make the project more visible and will assist to decrease casualties during the rescue operation. In addition to these, the translation of the project results in partners' languages will make this crucial global issue remain on the agenda and exchanging know-how between international partners. |
