Details
Summary: EducHate aims at increasing citizens' self-awareness and moral self-regulation to detect, fight online hate speech and support victims. This project is directed to schools and universities' social actors (teachers, students, pupils, parents) and relies on a participative pedagogic approach.
EducHate will encourage the creation of groups of ambassadors against hate in these contexts, that will be able to: 1) diagnose blatant and subtle online hate speech; 2) develop individual (empathy, moral self-regulation) and social (social, civic responsibility) skills to fight hate speech; and 3) support the development of anti-hate social contexts. This project will use digital materials, online activities, and will also privilege participants' experience with online hate speech in their context.
