Objectives
-This program aims: to advance integrated scientifc knowledge by presenting the recent developments in theorethical and empirical research about crime, offender and victim; to present the recent perspectives on intervention models; and to promote a interdisciplinary approach to the criminological areas.
It is expected that students deepen their knowledge on special topics of criminology at theoretical and empirical level and to develop skills in research and analysis of scientific literature around the selected themes in this course.
Learning outcomes and competences
It is expected that students show deepen knowledge on special subjects of criminology.
It is expected that students are able to articulate the fundamental ideas of each of the subjects taught, defining the most relevant concepts and stressing the researchers who contributed most to the knowledge in the area, as well as the methodologies they used and the results achieved.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Theoretical and empirical classes. Oral presentation by professor and several recommended lectures of scientific texts on the subjects discussed in the classroom.
