Objectives

With this curricular unit, we intend to contribute to:
(1) deepening knowledge on special subjects of Criminology, from the theoretical and empirical point of view.
(2) Developing a critical reflection on the main current criminological themes.

Learning outcomes and competences

It is expected that students show deepen knowledge on special subjects of criminology.
It is expected that students are able to articulate the fundamental ideas of each of the subjects taught, defining the most relevant concepts and stressing the researchers who contributed most to the knowledge in the area, as well as the methodologies they used and the results achieved.
