Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results
Objetivos e Atividades The research activities related to the first year of the project are the following ones:
Activity 1 - Formulation: This task was developed by our partner (MackGraphe). During the first year, they developed the formulation of
the 2D Inks precursors, based on hBN, MoS2,and expanded graphite. By the end of May, the components for the formulation arrived in Porto.
Activity 2 - Rheology:
T2.1 Macroscale. An electrorheological cell adapted to the CaBER device was developed (patent application submitted), as well as an improved new version of the code for obtaining the filament thinning process from the analyisis of the images recorded by the highspeed camera. Resultados Esperados/Atingidos Task 1 The rheological characterization under shear and extensional flow ar currently being performed. The milestone M1.1 was successfully reached. The first liquid dispersed 2D nanomaterials were formulated and
the dispersing protocol defined.
