Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results
Objetivos e Atividades
The specific goal of the CVMar+i project is to foster the participation of industrial companies in innovation efforts that contribute to bring the R&D+I activities close to the market and reinforce the potential of the blue economy market.

Resultados Esperados/Atingidos
The CVMar+i is aligned with the RIS3T of Galicia -Norte of Portugal region and foresees the development of new products base on compounds (and their secondary products)extracted from marine resources, which will be applied in the health (tissue regeneration and pharmacology), food processing and other industrial sectors.
Patents associated to the developed processes and products will be filed, in order to allow the companies to acquire intelectual property to reinforce their competitive advantages. At the same time, research centres will strengthen tools to attract funding for technological development and the creation of highly qualified employment opportunities.
