Teaching methods and learning activities

Theoretical and Practical classes.

Evaluation Type

Evaluation with final exam

Assessment Components

designation Weight (%)
Exame 100,00
Total: 100,00

Eligibility for exams

Students who had attended at least 75% of previewed practical classes.
Students with attendance in one of the last two school years could be excused from practical classes (it should be required until the end of the first week with classes)

Calculation formula of final grade

Theorical evaluation: 16 in 20
Practical evaluation: 4 in 20

For being approved, students must reach a classification equal to or higher than 9.5, with at least 30% in the theoretical-practical component.

Every student having attended at least 75% of the previewed practical classes (see section “Obtenção de Frequência”) may carry out the exam on two dates. Failure to attend at least 75% of the previewed practical classes implies that students will not be able to carry out any exam, and therefore, cannot be approved at this curricular unit.
Students may choose to substitute the first of these dates of exam by a set of two quizzes (the quizzes will take place on data and place to be communicate, and simultaneously with the first date of exam). No student may carry out the quizzes and the first exam.
Students having realized the first quiz must be aware that their grade will be automatically annulled, and they will not be allowed to carry out any exam, if they fail to attend at least 75% of the previewed practical classes.
Oral exams will not take place.
