Objectives

The curricular unit "Internship Project" is one of the ways for demonstrating that the Master subjects have been learned. The student should write a work proposal on a Cell and Molecular Biology topic. The written proposal should include a short review of the literature, a description of the goals, hypotheses to be tested, procedures to be used and a projected analysis of results.

Learning outcomes and competences

The student should demonstrate capacity to integrate and synthesize pertinent bibliography (describing the state of the art in a particular subject) and to address questions deserving further development; to understand the possible methodologies and techniques available to deal with those questions; and to be aware of the expected results.

The context for each "Internship Project" is to be drawn from some topic within the areas of Cell and Molecular Biology. Each student is to develop his/her own Project report, dealing with a literature survey and the writing of a work plan on the subject is planning to develop during the second year.
