The curriculum unit aims to deepen theoretical knowledge in the field of artificial nutrition, allowing students to achieve the level of fundamental knowledge essential to the development of clinical and scientific skills in intervention and research. It is intended that the student completed the course, have sufficient skills to, in a professional context, prescribing, guiding and adapting autonomously and responsibly, artificial nutrition in different clinical situations, in both adults and children, and has powers to efficiently develop clinical research in extension to clinical intervention.
