Objectives, activities and expected/achieved results

SMART4SEA overall goal is to comprehensively research, develop, and implement an environmental traceability system
that addresses fraud, environmental impacts, marine litter and waste generation within the fish and seafood sector.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, the project will develop traceability and circular economy strategies and
innovative solutions that significantly increase consumers trust towards sustainable products and contribute to the
strengthening of this sector.
