Notice, conditions and requirements for application

1. APPLICATIONS:

The Online applications for the First Cycle of Studies in Nutritional Sciences – Special Contest, 2024/2025 will be available for International Students* by 2nd January: Notice


1.1 SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:

A) NUMERUS CLAUSUS (1st   2nd and 3rd Phase of applications)

International students are those indicated in Decree-Law No. 36/2014, of 10th MarchArticle 3 of Decree-Law No. 62/2018of 6th August and in Article 1 of the Regulation No. 664/2018, of 16th October.


Who are not considered international students, cannot apply under this regime.

*Procedure for notification of the results to the applicants:

  1. Will be available through a link on the homepage of FCNAUP (fcna.up.pt);
  2. The email address indicated on the application process may be used for supplementary dissemination.



C) DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

  1. ID document (Citizen Card/ID Card/Passport);
  2. Supporting document(s) regarding the specific examinations [national examinations, homologous examinations, ENEM etc., issued by the official education services of the corresponding country*;
  3. Diploma or certificate issued by a competent authority attesting to the successful completion of a secondary education programmeWho have done the Brazilian National Secondary Education Examination – ENEM, its necessary to present a Diploma with the final average calculation;
  4. A declaration issued by the official education services of the country of origin, translated into Portuguese or English, attesting that the qualification they hold, obtained in that country, is sufficient there to be admitted to official higher education degrees in cycles of studies that are counterpart to those they wish to apply for*;
  5. Supporting document attesting to the knowledge of the language in which the cycle of studies will be taught – PT, issued by a competent authority or a declaration of honor issued by the applicant; 
  6.  Stating that are covered by the International Student status; Sworn Statement
  7. Motivation Letter (mandatory).

 

In deadline for submitting applications - supporting document(s), including copy or in digital format, must be authenticated by the official education services of the country and recognized by consular offices or embassies of Portugal in the country where the qualification was obtained, or for countries that acceded to the Hague Convention, hold the Hague Apostille, and translated into Portuguese or English.



D) FEES:


  1. Application fees 100¤ (not refundable);
  2. It will be possible to make payments through by ATM references or  Bank Tansfer;
  3. Payment proof must be sent in writing to the Academic Services Secretariat (sacademicos@fcna.up.pt), and Economic Services (contabilidade@fcnaupsp.up.pt), including the name (first vs. last), and course name;
  4. We call your attention that all transfer/ total handling costs must be support by applicant;
  5. The payment of the corresponding fee must be completed to the deadline for submitting applications. After this deadline, any applications will be rejected.
