Objectives
The curriculum unit aims to deepen theoretical knowledge under various pathological and clinical situations, allowing students to achieve the level of knowledge essential to the development of clinical and scientific skills, fundamental in clinical intervention and research. It is intended that the student, completed the unit, have sufficient skills to, in a professional context and in the area of food / nutrition, clinically intervene, recognizing, diagnosing and intervening in each clinical situation, independently and conscientiously, and has skills to efficiently develop clinical research in extension to clinical intervention.

Lectures: expository and interrogative method. Allow the deepening of theoretical knowledge, while associated with the practice and clinical experience of the teachers / experts invited.

Facilitate the interconnection of theoretical knowledge with practice, transposing it to real cases that the student safely can explore and solve.
