The PF&C (Photography and Cinema Practices) course enables students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to:
— Conceptually develop a theme, exploring the specificity of the photographic and cinematographic medium;
— Understand the relevance of photography and cinema in contemporary culture, art and society.
— Rehearse multiple formats of presentation and layout of the photographic and cinematographic image: production, edition, exhibition, publication.

The program contents are oriented according to the proposed objectives for the resolution of a project and a written essay whose premise is the learning by the production of images and respective critical grounds.
The demonstration of the coherence of the programmatic contents is verified during the semester through the analysis and evaluation of the projects, in all stages of the work process.
The PF&C (Photography and Cinema Practices) course explores individual research in the field of photography and cinema, in its multiple contemporary dimensions, as well as the development of an authorial practice. An original project for the creation of visual repertoires is developed according to the following topics:

4. Forms of mediation: edition, exhibition
5. Authorship and / or appropriation
Theoretical-practical modules will be developed during the semester in collaboration with specialists and partner institutions related to the photographic and audiovisual archive.
The individual project to be developed by each student is followed in a personalized tutorial regime, which enables the learning of technical, analytical and creative skills in their individual course.
Alongside with the project there will be a written essay and a organized journal that critically explores photographic and cinematographic contents.
