The main objective of this course is to assist students in writing the methodologies chapter. To this end it will address the key issues of the methodological process in parallel with a written assignment coupled with an oral presentation.

Learning outcomes and competences

At the end of this semester students will be able to develop field work, conduct an image analysis among other aspects of research targeted to their topic and research question. On a general level students at the end of this semester will have made the foundational structure of the methodologies chapter.

Attendance and completion of research methodologies I


Contents are organized in an integrated manner, based on the analysis of main perspectives relevant to research and methodologies. The course goes from general aspects of research, qualitative and quantitative to (1.) case studies that articulate decisively with research each student, translating this knowledge to the ongoing work (2.) and the analysis of the relations between cognition, learning and teaching (3.). and a reasoned analysis of links between research, scientific knowledge and production of a research document (3). On the whole, aims to promote the acquisition of scientific knowledge and the development of research skills in the context of ongoing research projects.
