Objectives
i - The main goal of the UC Project is the critical consolidation and conception of the working project of each student, as a starting point after the first degree path, according to the specialization branch: Painting, Sculpture or Multimedia;
ii Though Fine Arts are the wide purpose of the course, the first degree aims for a specialization that involves different practices, methodologies and knowledge. Therefore, the UC is divides in three classes, with different tutors, according to each branch of specialization;
iii - The UC intends to be a gathering space, in an individual project, resultant from a multidisciplinary background built during the first degree;
iv - Thus, the aim is to promote and consolidate, within the atelier, the students involvement in production projects that will promote the study of the contemporary art's pratices.
Learning outcomes and competences
Having concluded UC Project we think that student will have the necessary and sufficient knowledge, also qualified experience as well as a critical thought that enaible him in a near future to develop an artistic project in accordance with the branch choosen: Painting, Sculpture or Multimedia.

Program
i - The content is defined in accordance with the working proposals presented by the students. Each project will correspond to a case study that the teacher will try to manage based on its particularity;
ii - The working proposal should include a wide context of the artistic thinking and creation, while justifying the theory and practical contents to be used.

Teaching methods and learning activities
i - The student presents his working proposal to the teacher;
ii - It is predicted a tutorial system in accordance with the teacher. The tutorial system still implies the attendance of the class;
iii - Over the year, the students are called to present their reflections and state of development of their working proposals, in an individual context and in group;
iv - By the end of the year, the students organize their project's public presentation, in places dully identified for that purpose;
v - The last point does not inhibit the project's instalation in alternative spaces over the year, as long as that iniciative is opportune;
vi - The evaluation is continuous, without final exam;
vii - The evaluation contemplates the theoretical and practical nature of the work project, namely the research behind it, its options and framework, development, completion and exposure.
