The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP) is an institution for Art and Design education and research with strong links to professional practice and the public sphere. The MA in Art Studies offers a creative and stimulating environment for students coming from diverse academic and professional fields who want to creatively and critically broaden the scope of their professional activities within the art world.
The program provides a solid theoretical and critical basis for those who wish to pursue research oriented projects and a diversity of skills needed to build a professional career as an independent curator, a cultural programmer or work in an art institution.
