Eligibility for exams
Do not exceed the number of absences corresponding to 25 per cent of the scheduled lessons, with the possibility of this number rising to 50 per cent, once that the excess of absences is duly proven by a medical report attesting to the inability to regularly attend lessons.
Attendance requirements are waived in the cases predicted by law, namely student workers and athletes included in the high-competition legislation.
Students who, by law, are excused from attending classes will have to define, at the beginning of the semester in which the course is taught, with the respective teacher, the set of special tests or assignments designed to demonstrate mastery of the subject matter and the competences required in this course outline.
Calculation formula of final grade
Theoretical examination – 30%
Practical examination – 50%
Theoretical and practical works - 20%
A grade under 7.5 values (non-roundable) is not allowed in any of the parameters evaluated.
The classification of the parameter "theoretical and practical works" is calculated using a rule of three, considering 100% the submission of all the works required.
In the final assessement 10 values grade is required.
The practical teste will be performed in the last week of classes. The theoretical test date will be in accordance to the exams calendar.
Classification improvement
Students can apply for grade improvement in any item of evaluation. For the final classification will keep the weight factors set out above.
