Eligibility for exams
Students will only be eligible for the final exam if:
i) they attend at least 75% of theoretical classes and 75% of practical classes
ii) their grades in each of the evaluations (i.e., theoretical and practical) are at least 47.5% of the final grade
Calculation formula of final grade
Theoretical Component (65% of the total final grade, 13/20 points):
i) Regular period: 3 tests, 65% (4/20 points, 4/20 points, 5/20 points).
ii) Make-up exam: final exam (65% - 13 points).
Practical Component: i) Group project - 35% of the final grade.
In any assessment component, the final grade cannot be lower than 47.5% (4.75 on a scale of 0 to 20) of the corresponding value.
Examinations or Special Assignments
Following the current legal provisions at the University of Porto and the Evaluation Standards issued by the Pedagogical Council of the Faculty of Sports, working students unable to meet the minimum attendance requirement of 75% in classes must contact the course instructor within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of the first class. This contact is essential to discuss their training and assessment.
Special assessment (TE, DA, ...)
For students covered by legislation regarding special attendance arrangements, the completion of a special exam may be required to verify knowledge and skills related to the objectives and contents of the curricular unit. These students should contact the instructor during the first two classes.
Classification improvement
Students can improve their theoretical grade through exam.
The practical component does not include a re-assessment opportunity
