Objectives

Goals
1. Provide scientific and technical knowledge in relation to the use of valid assessment methods of physical activity assesment, body composition and physical fitness.
2. Encourage the student the ability to integrate such knowledge through critical reading of scientific articles in order to allow for the development of intervention projects.
3. Encourage the student towards active and responsiblelearning.

Learning outcomes and competences

1. Define physical activity, exercise, physical fitness and their components.
2. Exemplify, compare and apply different assessment methods of body composition and physical activity and fitness
3. Work productively as a member of the group, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.
4. Communicate and present effectively the information through written or electronic formats.
