Candidates to the “U.PORTO e-Learning Excellence Prize” can be all those who:
Teach or have taught one or more course subjects at the U.PORTO;
Have not received a U.PORTO e-Learning Excellence Prize in the last three years;
Have produced pedagogical contents in electronic format, of high quality and originality, making it available through the U.PORTO e-learning platforms;
Have used the materials developed with the students of the subject in the school year in question;
Submit a case study on the subject of the specific school year in the annual “e-Learning U.PORTO” Workshop.
Documentation required
The application is considered valid if the following documents are submitted:
Application form;
Case study on the work done, including:
User access to the online component of the course subject in question;
Brief description of the subject taught;
Syllabus of the course taught, with details and description of the modules placed online;;
Strategy for integrating the online component with the traditional component;
Statistical description of the use by students in the school year in question, provided by the platform.
Evaluation criteria
In assessing applications, the jury will consider the following parameters:
Pedagogical innovation;
Technical quality;
Promotion of active learning;
Scientific-pedagogical and technical-pedagogical quality of contents;
Potential reuse/interoperability;
Promotion of collaboration;
Promotion of accessibility;
Evaluation of the course subject (pedagogical survey);
Autonomy in the use of the U.PORTO e-learning platforms;
Quality of the presentation of the respective case study at the annual “e-Learning U.PORTO” Workshop, to be held at the University at the beginning of December following the school year to which the prize edition refers;
