Mobility Programmes for Students

The U.Porto constantly supports the student mobility, which is one of the main vectors of its internationalization strategy.

Every year, an increasing number of students, academic and non academic staff and researchers undertake a period of mobility, either "IN - Incoming" (from abroad to U. Porto) or "OUT - Outgoing" (from U. Porto to abroad), under programmes and cooperation agreements.

U.Porto's students will have the opportunity to benefit from an international experience. This will be an advantage in their curriculum, either at academic scientific and personal level or to acquire professional skills recognized by the labour market.

On the other side, every year, a growing number of students from all over the world come to U.Porto under programmes such as Eramus or Erasmus Mundus or bilateral cooperation agreements, as they choose U.Porto as their preferred higher education institution to undertake a period of studies or to complete their higher education studies.

Most of these opportunities to carry out a period of mobility in more than 50 countries are offered under the Euroean programmes and bilateral cooperation agreements.
