EUGLOH, the European University Alliance for Global Health, consists of 5 research universities -Lund University (Sweden),Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany), Universidade do Porto (Portugal), University of Szeged (Hungary) andUniversité Paris-Saclay (France) - committed to train new generations of European leaders, innovators, experts andpractitioners, who will serve all sectors of society. They will acquire cross-disciplinary knowledge and skills in a variety of areasranging from digital health, public health, and welfare, to environmental protection and food security. By embracing theEuropean values at the core of EUGLOH such as solidarity, equality of opportunities, inclusiveness, respect for human rightsand access to welfare, they will be ready to tackle major challenges of tomorrow's society. The location of the partners at theheart of major economic hubs, together with the presence of world-class large-scale research facilities, hospitals andbioclusters, are distinctive features of EUGLOH. Benefitting from this exceptional ecosystem, the Alliance offers unique jointEuropean programmes and curricula strongly linked to excellent research and innovation. These opportunities are proposed toall students, including disadvantaged students, and professionals. Emphasis is put on learner-centered orientation and self-design of curricula. To this end, a large panel of short and long-term study programmes, internships, online trainings, alltaught in English or other languages, are available. Innovative methods adapted to diversity of learning abilities and specialtools are provided. By 2025 EUGLOH will be a world-class higher education and research alliance focused on global health andwell-being that will strongly connect theoretical knowledge with professional competencies, thus contributing to a commonEuropean health area.
