Iberoamerican Journal of Health and Citizenship :: Call for Papers

On June 1st 2012, the Iberoamerican Observatory of Health and Citizenship - IOHC will release the first issue of the Iberoamerican Journal of Health and Citizenship (already an indexed journal). The Iberoamerican Journal of Health and Citizenship is a biannual online publication which has the support of the CIIE, among other international research centers.


The call for papers for the first issue, "Immigration and Maternity", is open until February 28th, 2012. CALL FOR PAPERS

GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLES SUBMISSION

Will be accepted for evaluation:

»» Original articles published in other languages and/or in local circulation journals (printed), when accompanied by proper authorization;

»» Articles written in castilian, portuguese, english and french by Latin American authors or authors residing in Latin America countries;

»» Articles should be headed by an abstract of 100 to 150 words and 5 keywords in the article's language, and it must include a translation of the title, abstract and keywords in english and castilian, when this is not the original language. In the case of articles written in english, the mentioned items must be translated into castilian and portuguese;

»» Articles must have a maximum of 80.000 characters (including spaces, notes and references);

»» The article must be submitted via e-mail (healthandcitizenship@fpce.up.pt) in Word format (.doc or .docx) formatted in font: arial, size: 12, spacing: 1.5. The file must include the name of the author(s), and the word "article". Example: "Caldas.articulo.doc";

»» The layout of the page must be A4, with margins: 3.0 cm. (top, bottom, left and right), alignment: justified and paragraph without indentation;

»» The title should appear centered (font: arial, size: 14, bold, capital letters and spacing: 1.5). If it has a subtitle, it should be written in lowercase;

»» After the title (and subtitle) must appear the name(s) of the author(s) (alignment: right, font: arial, size: 12, bold, single spaced), institution(s) and email ( font: arial, size: 10);

»» Abstracts must use font: arial, size: 12, single spacing.

All entries must be submitted electronically to healthandcitizenship@fpce.up.pt mentioning in the subject: author name article submission for journal #(number of the issue). Example: "Caldas article submission for journal #1"
