Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine
The PhD Program in Biomedicine at FMUP allows students, with distinct basic training, to acquire knowledge, both theoretical and practical, necessary to develop a doctoral thesis in several areas of biomedicine.
With 240 ECTS, the Doctoral Program lasts eight semesters. The Program is organized in two stages: the first year is dedicated to theoretical and practical education in biomedicine and related fields; the following years are dedicated to experimental work suitable for the doctoral project.
