Internationalisation is one of the University of Porto’s () prime concerns, clearly borne out by the innumerable international initiatives which it has pursued, in compliance with the University’s Strategic Development Plan.
The Faculty of Arts has for many years developed active participation in a wide range of international programmes, not only within the Erasmus Programme, but also in programmes such as Erasmus Mundus, Lingua, Comenius, Culture 2000, Tempus, Interreg III, Jean Monnet, Alfa, Leonardo da Vinci, and the 7th Framework Programme, among others.
Student mobility is one of the University of Porto’s and the Faculty of Arts’ major concerns, and it is a fundamental dimension of its internationalisation strategy.
Every student can benefit from an international experience, representing not only an academic and professional asset, but also an opportunity for personal development. This experience provides students with the opportunity to accomplish either part of their studies or curricular/vocational training in a partner institution (university or company).
FLUP currently participates in a number of International partnerships within several programmes. A list can be consulted at International Projects FLUP.
The Projects and Cooperation Office is responsible for editing the Information Newsletter, aimed at providing updated information on national and international institutions which offer funding programmes for research, scholarships, prizes, mobility programmes, etc.
