Bromatology Services:

Quality control, authenticity and safety of food products;
Nutritional evaluation of contaminants, additives and verification of the conformity of the label with product;
Control of raw materials throughout the processing chain and of processed by - products;
New products characterization and its comparison with similar ones existing in the market;
Evaluation of the performance and adjustment of food products for certain purposes;
Testing of the package adjustment to the product.

Examples of provided services:

  • Quality control of sugar cane for Comismar.
  • Evaluation of performance and adequacy of different oils for fry food for Sovena.
  • Quality control of Portuguese marmalade for the Instituto do Consumidor.
