PROGRAMA EM PDF >> - Química Farmacêutica Medicinal na descoberta, planeamento e desenvolvimento de fármacos - Reconhecimento molecular no mecanismo de ação dos fármacos - Fatores que afetam a atividade de fármacos - Descoberta e desenvolvimento de novos fármacos; estudos de caso: a) Produtos naturais b) Síntese c) Outras fontes Este Curso de Verão: "Fármacos: como se obtêm, como atuam e porquê (uma perspetiva da Química Farmacêutica Medicinal) ", organizado pelo Laboratório de Química Orgânica e Farmacêutica (LQOF) da FFUP e Centro Interdisciplinar de Investigação Marinha e Ambiental (CIIMAR) será ministrado por Docentes do LQOF e trata de temas de grande interesse para várias áreas científicas. O curso é destinado a estudantes (MI; 2º e 3º Ciclos), investigadores e técnicos das Ciências da Vida que lidam com áreas tão diversas como Ciências Farmacêuticas, Medicina, Veterinária, Química, Bioquímica, Biologia, Farmacologia, Biotecnologia. Pretende-se que os participantes adquiram noções gerais em Química Farmacêutica Medicinal tendo como princípio o mecanismo de ação dos fármacos a nível molecular e contactem com as fontes, metodologias e estratégias usadas para descoberta, obtenção e planeamento de fármacos, numa abordagem de estudos de caso. Serão apresentados exemplos de como chegaram ao mercado vários fármacos relevantes no arsenal terapêutico atual. Os participantes irão ainda estar envolvidos na apresentação e discussão em grupo de problemas numa perspetiva de problem-based learning.

Ficha de Inscrição Estudantes FFUP (1º, 2º e 3º ciclos): inscrição é gratuita Estudantes de 1º e 2º ciclos: 30 Euros Estudantes de 3º ciclo: 50 Euros Outros: 70 Euros Data Limite de Inscrição: 30 de junho (após esta data e até 16 de julho o valor da inscrição será acrescido de 25%). O número de participantes será limitado a 30 participantes. Mediante assiduidade de pelo menos 75% do curso, será passado um certificado de frequência. Mediante avaliação no final do curso, será passado um certificado de formação contínua. A avaliação no final do curso é obrigatória para os estudantes do 3º ciclo da FFUP que pretendam ver integrada esta atividade do estipulado no item 4 h do Ponto 1 das "Condições de Funcionamento e Normas de Avaliação do Ciclo de Estudos conducentes ao grau de Doutor em Ciências Farmacêuticas da FFUP".

- Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry in discovery, planning and development of drugs - Molecular Recognition in drug mechanism of action - Factors affecting the activity of drugs - Drug discovery and development; case-studies: a) Natural products b) Synthesis c) Other sources This Summer Course "Pharmaceutical Drugs: how to obtain, how do they work and why (a perspective in Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry)" jointly organized by the Laboratory of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (LQOF) of FFUP and Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR) will be delivered by Professors of the LQOF addressing topics of great interest for many areas of science. The course will be targeted at students (Masters, PhD), researchers and technicians who deal with the area of Life Sciences, flanking by disciplines as diverse as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Veterinary, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology. It is intended that the participants acquire basic concepts in Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry based on the principle of the mechanism of action of drugs at a molecular level, as well as to contact with methods and strategies used in discovery, obtaining and design drugs in approach of case studies. Examples will be presented of how several relevant drugs of the current therapeutic arsenal came to the market. The course will be further intensified by involving the participants in the presentation and group discussion concerning problems in a perspective of problem-based learning.

Online Registration Master Students: 30¤ PhD Students: 50¤ Other participants: 70¤ Deadline for early registration is 30 June 2015. Additional 25% of the registration fee will be charged for the registration after 30 June 2015 (until July 16). The number of participants will be limited (30). To be eligible for a certificate of attendance, it is necessary to attend at least 75% of the course. The students who pass the final evaluation will receive the certificate of training. Final evaluation is mandatory for PhD students of the FFUP.
