PhD Researcher at INEGI (Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering)

Main research themes: polymers and polymeric nanocomposites with carbon nanotubes and graphene materials, with experimental work on mechanical testing, physical and structural analysis and materials degradation and ageing evaluation. Bio-based materials which can be applied in several sectors as biomaterials, aeronautics and space engineering, automotive and energy.

Currently, I work at INEGI as R&D project manager, leading internally  an international cooperation project (H2020) on the aeronautical sector, with management functions like budgeting, personnel management, comunnication with foreigner teams, dissemination and international travel for consortium meetings. Also, I have been developing new R&D technical proposals for national and international projects on Materials, Polymers & Composites, Structural Monitoring & Integrity and Experimental Mechanics (P2020 and H2020). 

Simultaneously, I collaborate as a lecturer at FEUP since September 2011 on the Integrated Master on Electrical and Computers Engineering, Energy minor classes.
